Steakhouse guide

The steakhouse map for ten Canadian casino hotels

You are not choosing a steakhouse in the abstract. You are choosing the lift ride after dinner, the bar you can use before a reservation, and the breakfast plan the next morning. This guide reads the ten hotel-casino dining sets for their published steak and grill rooms only, then shows where a room makes the meal easier.

Our desk asks the hotel for a room and a dinner reservation and emails you; no card details. This kitchen desk lives on referrals: a booking made through our links, or a table-and-room arranged by the desk, earns a commission from the hotel or a booking partner. Restaurants pay nothing and the order of the list is not for sale.

Received. The desk will email you about the room and the table.

The named steak rooms, read literally

Start with the places the hotels or verified sources actually name as steak-focused. At River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, Gordon Ramsay Steak is published as a steakhouse and as “THE FIRST IN CANADA.” The resort lists it as open, with evening hours, and also publishes a Gordon Ramsay Steak Lounge with live music in the lounge on Saturdays in October 2026. It sits inside a property with other late and breakfast-adjacent options, which matters after a long dinner.

At Caesars Windsor, Neros Steakhouse is the named signature steakhouse. The current Caesars site could not be fetched in our pass, so its status is more carefully worded: the fact sheet and current tourism listing name Neros, but the resort’s own live dining page was not verified by us. Ariius is not part of this guide except as a closure note: it left Caesars Windsor in January 2026.

At Fallsview Casino Resort, 21 Club Steak & Seafood is the published signature fine-dining room, with “market-fresh Canadian cuisine,” business casual dress, Falls views, more than 700 wines, and access through the casino gaming floor. Ontario’s casino entry age is 19. Under-19 access is not published for 21 Club; Ponte Vecchio is the Fallsview restaurant where under-19 guests are specifically permitted.

At Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto, Copperhorn is published as a fine dining steakhouse on the gaming floor. The resort states that guests must be 19 or older to dine there.

Ontario: strong steak choices, different levels of certainty

Ontario gives you the densest run of steakhouse names in this set, but the planning notes differ by hotel. Fallsview’s 21 Club is the clearest if you want a formal steak-and-seafood dinner tied to a hotel stay: published hours, business casual, gaming-floor access, and a named bar and lounge network around it. The resort also publishes that it does not currently operate a buffet, so build the second morning around Bar Barista, room service during its published windows, or another listed restaurant rather than expecting a buffet.

Caesars Windsor is useful when you want Neros plus an easy late fallback. The tourism listing names a 24/7 Tim Hortons on the main floor of the Forum Tower, and the fact sheet names Café 377 for counter-service breakfast and lunch. Because Caesars’ own pages were blocked to our fetcher, treat the dining list as medium-confidence and re-confirm Neros directly with the hotel before anchoring a trip to it.

Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto is stricter in its published access language. Copperhorn is on the gaming floor, “NOW OPEN,” and 19+ to dine. Lobster Legend Noodle Bar is published as all ages and sits at the West Entrance, Floor 2, so it works differently for a mixed-age party. If your dinner is Copperhorn, book the room and table as one plan, then use the hotel lobby’s all-ages Grab & Go only where that suits your party.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa adds Council Oak Steaks & Seafood to the map. The fact sheet names Council Oak Steaks & Seafood, Hard Rock Cafe, Brick’d, YOUYU, Constant Grind, Council Oak Lounge and Marketplace Bar. Ontario’s entry age is 19; the facts do not publish minor admission rules for Council Oak.

West and Québec: Atlas, grill rooms and what not to overclaim

In British Columbia, Cascades Casino Resort Langley gives you ATLAS steak + fish on the current Coast Hotels dining page. It is published as open, with the hotel page describing it as “a flirtatious and modern twist on the iconic North American steakhouse” and “warm and casually elegant.” The same hotel page also lists Match Eatery & Public House, The Breakfast Room, Sunday Brunch Buffet & Events and Glacier Bar & Lounge. British Columbia’s casino entry age is 19; the facts do not publish a separate minor rule for ATLAS.

Casino Rama Resort has Atlas Steak and Fish at St. Germain’s, but with an important status note. The available facts come through secondary reporting and Wikipedia rather than a reachable current resort page. It is described as Gateway’s signature steak and seafood restaurant and the first Ontario location, a rebrand of St. Germain’s. For a steak-led stay, you ask the hotel to verify the room, Atlas opening status, and any age or access limits before you commit.

Hilton Lac-Leamy does not publish a classic steakhouse name in our facts, but it does publish grill language. Arôme, in the Hilton Lac-Leamy, is “Seafood & Grill” and open every day from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Banco Bistro, on Casino Level 3, publishes “rotisserie classics and innovative pizzas to perfectly grilled steaks” and is 18+. Québec’s casino entry age is 18. Le Baccara is not listed on the official all-restaurants page and its restaurant page returns 404, so do not plan around it.

In Alberta, River Cree’s confirmed dining list names Sage, The Kitchen Buffet Bistro and Tap 25, but the facts do not call Sage a steakhouse. Grey Eagle’s confirmed list centres on Little Chief, the Buffet, Stage Bar, Eagle Bar and Eagle Street Eats, with Blaze closed for renovations.

How to pair steak night with the room

The cleanest steak stay is the one where dinner, bar, breakfast and late food are all published. River Rock is strongest on that pattern: Gordon Ramsay Steak for the steak night, Privé Bar or Chairman’s Room Lounge around it, Chopsticks Noodlehouse published to 3:00 a.m., Starbucks from 6:00 a.m., Sea Harbour from 10:00 a.m., and The Chairman’s Room Buffet with brunch and dinner windows. The property also publishes room towers, room types and a booking URL, so it is easier to match a dinner time to the right building.

Fallsview is the more formal Niagara version. Book 21 Club when you want the steak-and-wine room, then decide whether your second dinner should be Ponte Vecchio, Golden Lotus, or a lighter bar plan. Remember that 21 Club is accessed through the casino gaming floor; the provincial age rule is 19. For nearby eating, the only off-property names we use are the ones in the facts, including Niagara wineries and breweries listed by the resort and official tourism sources. For a fuller off-property plan, use our guide to wine and beer nearby.

Toronto asks for tighter sequencing. Copperhorn is on the gaming floor and 19+ to dine, so it is not the flexible family dinner. Pair it with a hotel room, a pre-dinner drink at Northern Lights Bar if appropriate, and a late backup at Casual or Lobster Legend only within their published hours and access rules.

Use the restaurant matrix when you want the side-by-side version: signature restaurant, number of published restaurants, buffet, 24-hour option, bars and status notes. The scoring logic behind those choices is on how we score the table.
