How Table & Tower earns

You should know who pays before you ask us to plan a bed and a table. Table & Tower earns from hotel-booking referrals, not from restaurants, bars or casinos buying placement. The money comes after a hotel stay is booked through our links or arranged through our desk, and it does not change the order of our rankings.

Our desk asks the hotel for a room and a dinner reservation and emails you; no card details. This kitchen desk lives on referrals: a booking made through our links, or a table-and-room arranged by the desk, earns a commission from the hotel or a booking partner. Restaurants pay nothing and the order of the list is not for sale.

Received. The desk will email you about the room and the table.

Ranking · How this site earns

The short version

Table & Tower is an independent casino-hotel review and booking-request site written from the table outward. We rank the ten Canadian casino hotels for eating and drinking, then point you to the hotel or help you ask for a room and a restaurant reservation.

When you book a stay through one of our hotel links, or when you ask our desk to arrange a stay and that stay is confirmed through a hotel or booking partner, the hotel or booking partner may pay us a commission. That is how the site earns.

Restaurants do not pay to appear here. A steakhouse, buffet, coffee counter, sports lounge or hotel bar cannot buy a place in the ranking by kitchen, cannot buy a higher score, and cannot pay us to hide a closure or a weak breakfast position. If a restaurant is named on this site, it is because it appears in our checked source material for that hotel page, with its status stated as clearly as the source allows.

Our work is closer to a kitchen pass than an advertising board: what is open, what the hotel publishes, where the gaps are, and how you might plan two nights without pretending a resort has a brunch or late-night counter it has not published.

What happens when you use a hotel link

On hotel profiles, the phrase “book a table-and-room at the hotel” leads to the hotel’s official site when we have an official booking URL. Those outbound hotel links are marked nofollow. You leave Table & Tower and book with the hotel or its booking platform, not with us.

If that booking partner tracks the referral and a qualifying stay is completed, it may pay us a commission. The room rate, taxes, cancellation rules, deposits, resort fees and restaurant booking rules are set by the hotel or booking platform. We do not add a fee to your room. We do not guarantee a rate. We do not control whether a restaurant has a table on the night you want.

If you prefer to compare first, use the restaurant matrix before opening hotel sites. It shows the dining position in a tighter form: hotel, signature restaurant, published restaurant count, buffet status, late-night or 24-hour option, bars and status notes. That page is editorial, not a paid directory.

What happens when you ask our desk

You can also use ask for a table-and-room. The form is designed for the practical questions a dining stay needs: dates, hotel, number of covers, preferred restaurant, room needs and dietary notes you choose to share.

After you send the request, our desk uses that information to ask the hotel or booking partner about a room and to ask the hotel about the restaurant reservation. Restaurant reservations are made with the hotel, not here. If the hotel confirms the room through a commissionable channel, the hotel or booking partner may pay us after the booking conditions are met.

We do not take card details through the request form. If payment details are needed, you provide them to the hotel or booking partner through its own process. We do not ask you to send card numbers, security codes or banking details in a message.

Dietary notes can be useful, but keep them spare. Tell us what the hotel needs to know to seat and brief the restaurant; do not send medical history or anything not needed for the booking request.

What money does not buy

Commission does not decide the order of the site. Our ranking follows the published scoring method: range and ambition of restaurants, bars and lounges, breakfast, brunch and buffet, late-night and 24-hour options, nearby eating named by official tourism sources, and transparency. The weights and handling rules are set out in how we score the table.

A hotel cannot pay for extra points. A restaurant cannot pay to become a signature restaurant. A bar cannot pay to be treated as open when the available source says otherwise. If a venue is closed, unverified, seasonal, blocked by a source we could not reach, or contradicted by another source, the profile should say so.

We also do not sell gambling traffic. The casino is part of each property, but this site is about the room, the restaurants, the bars, breakfast, buffet planning and what is worth leaving the building for when our sources name it. You cannot gamble through Table & Tower.

The order of work

  1. We gather hotel facts. We use the hotel, operator, regulator and official tourism sources available in the fact file.
  2. We mark restaurant status. Open, listed, closed, seasonal, unverified or conflicting status is kept visible where the profile needs it.
  3. We score before selling. Rankings and profiles are built from the method, not from commercial preference.
  4. You choose a path. You can go straight to the hotel, compare all ten, or ask our desk to request a room and table.
  5. The hotel handles the booking. Rates, deposits, cancellation rules, age rules and restaurant reservations sit with the hotel or booking partner.
  6. Commission may follow. If the booking qualifies, we may be paid after the referral or arranged stay is completed under the partner’s rules.

That structure keeps the practical work funded while leaving the restaurant judgement where it belongs: on the published facts, the method and the usefulness of the stay plan.
