Privacy notice for Table & Tower

This notice explains how Table & Tower collects, uses and shares information when you read the site or ask our desk for a table-and-room. We write about casino hotels for the bed and the meal; we do not run a casino, take restaurant reservations directly, or process hotel bookings on this website.

Who this notice covers

Table & Tower is an independent editorial and booking-request site. This notice applies to pages on the site, including the ranking by kitchen, hotel profiles, guides, legal pages and the ask for a table-and-room form.

We are written for readers in Canada. If provincial privacy law also applies to your request, we aim to handle the information in the same practical way: collect only what we need, use it for the purpose you gave it, keep it no longer than needed, and let you ask what we hold.

This site is about hotels, restaurants, bars, brunch, buffets and nearby eating. It is not a gambling operator, not a casino affiliate for online gambling, and not a place to gamble. When our pages discuss provincial entry ages or responsible-gaming information, that is editorial context. The privacy practices here concern site reading and booking-request handling, not casino account data.

Hotel and restaurant reservations are made with the hotel or a booking partner, not with Table & Tower as the final supplier. Their own privacy notices apply once your information reaches them or you use their official websites.

What we collect when you ask for a table-and-room

If you send a table-and-room request, we collect the information you type into the form. That may include your name, email address, preferred hotel, travel dates, room needs, number of diners, approximate meal timing, reservation notes and any message you add for our desk.

The form may invite dietary notes so the hotel can understand the table request. Those notes can be health-adjacent. Please share only what is needed for the booking conversation. For example, if a kitchen needs to know about an allergy, intolerance, accessibility need or strong dietary restriction, keep the note practical and brief. Do not send medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions or anything you would not want passed to a hotel reservation or restaurant team.

We use form information to read the request, contact you if details are missing, ask the hotel or booking partner about room availability and restaurant reservations, and keep a record of the conversation. We may also use it to manage a correction, cancellation or follow-up that you ask for.

We do not ask for payment-card details in the form. If a hotel or booking partner requires a card, deposit, guarantee or cancellation agreement, that step happens with them, under their terms and privacy notice. Our terms explain the booking relationship in more detail.

Analytics, cookies and tag management tools

We use tag management tools to manage measurement tags on the site. Those tags may collect standard browser and device information, such as pages visited, referral source, approximate location derived from network information, browser type, device type, timestamps and interactions with links or forms.

We use this information to understand which pages are read, whether readers can find hotel profiles, and where the request process needs repair. For example, we may look at whether people move from the restaurant matrix to a hotel profile, or whether a form page loads properly.

Tag management tools themselves are used to manage tags. The tags they control may set or read cookies or similar identifiers, depending on the configuration active at the time of your visit. Your browser may let you block or delete cookies, limit tracking, or use private browsing. Some measurement may still occur through ordinary server logs or security systems.

We do not use analytics to decide whether you may book a hotel, to profile you for gambling, or to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects. We use the data at an editorial and operational level: which pages work, which pages need clearer wording, and which hotel requests need human attention.

Sharing, storage and retention

We share personal information only where it is needed to handle your request, operate the site, comply with law, or protect the service. For a table-and-room request, that means we may share the relevant parts of your request with the hotel or booking partner connected to the stay. We do not send every note to everyone. We send what is needed to ask for the room and table you requested.

If your request includes dietary notes, we may pass those notes to the hotel or restaurant team because that is the reason you gave them to us. Again, keep them short and functional. If you later want a note removed from our working record, ask as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee removal from a hotel’s systems after we have already sent it.

We may use service providers for hosting, email, security, form handling, analytics and record storage. Those providers process information for us. We do not sell your table-and-room request data.

We keep form requests and related email long enough to answer you, manage the request, resolve questions, keep basic business records and understand whether the request led to a referral payment as described on how this site earns. We do not keep sensitive notes for longer than we need. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or let it expire from ordinary systems and backups according to our storage practices.

Your choices and rights

You can choose not to use the request form and instead contact a hotel directly through its official website. You can also limit what you send us. If a field is optional, use it only when it helps the desk ask for the right room or table.

You may ask to access personal information we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent where consent is the basis for use, or ask us to delete information that is no longer needed. We may need to keep limited records where required for legal, security, accounting or dispute-resolution reasons. We may also need to verify that the request is really from you before changing or releasing information.

To make a privacy request, use the editor email listed on about the kitchen desk. Put “privacy request” in the subject line and include the email address you used in the form. Do not include new dietary or health details in that message unless they are necessary to identify the record.

We may update this notice when the site, form or measurement setup changes. The current version on this page is the version that applies when you read it. If a change affects how table-and-room requests are handled in a material way, we will update the page rather than hide the change in a template.
