Windsor profile
Caesars Windsor, ranked for the table
You come to Caesars Windsor for a compact, hotel-attached eating plan: steakhouse, trattoria, counter breakfast, sports bar, coffee at any hour, and the Detroit skyline as the recurring view. The catch is documentation. Current Caesars pages were blocked on this pass, so the kitchen record here leans on the 2023 fact sheet, current tourism listings and named secondary updates where FACTS allow them.

The kitchen position
Caesars Windsor ranks as a strong two-night hotel when you want clear dinner anchors and a genuine late-night safety net. Its published dining set, from the Caesars Windsor fact sheet and current tourism listing, names Neros Steakhouse, Spago Trattoria, Café 377, Johnny Rockets, Legends Sports Bar and a Tim Hortons on the main floor of the Forum Tower. Neros is the signature restaurant. Spago is the casual Italian-inspired room “for gathering families and friends.” Café 377 covers counter-service breakfast and lunch. The Tim Hortons is listed by tourism sources as 24/7.
The resort is in Ontario, where the casino entry age is 19+. FACTS do not publish whether minors may use each restaurant, so you should not plan a family meal inside the resort unless the hotel confirms the route, room and admission rule for your date. The fact sheet describes the Augustus Tower as “family-friendly”; the Forum Tower adults-only point appears only in a low-confidence OTA snippet, so it is not a planning fact here.
For the broader context, compare this page with the restaurant matrix and how we score the table. If you want the hotel itself, you can book a table-and-room at the hotel; restaurant reservations are made with the hotel, not here.
Dinner one: make Neros the centre of the stay
Start with Neros Steakhouse. FACTS identify it as “Caesars Windsor’s signature restaurant” and as a steakhouse, with status listed in the August 2023 fact sheet and a current tourism listing. We do not have current Caesars-published hours from the resort site because caesars.com returned blocked pages during this pass. That matters if you are matching dinner to a Colosseum night, so ask the hotel to confirm the sitting before you commit to a show-night sequence.
There is enough here to plan, but not enough to over-order from imagination. We do not invent cuts, sauces, chefs, tasting menus or prices. Treat Neros as the composed first-night booking: arrive, check in, leave time to get oriented between tower, restaurant and theatre, then use the steakhouse as the one reservation that holds the evening together.
Caesars Windsor’s hotel side is substantial: FACTS give 758 total guest rooms in two towers, with the Forum Tower at 389 rooms and the Augustus Tower at 369 rooms by secondary sources. The Colosseum has seating for 5,000, and secondary show calendars list upcoming concerts there. If dinner is tied to a performance, build the reservation through the hotel desk or the resort’s own restaurant channel, not through this site.
Dinner two: Spago, sports bars or a lighter reset
For a second night, Spago Trattoria gives the clearest change of pace. FACTS describe it as casual Italian-inspired and “for gathering families and friends,” with status listed in the fact sheet and current tourism listing. As with Neros, current hours were not fetched from the resort’s own live pages, so confirmation is part of the booking work.
If the second evening needs a less formal room, the named choices are Legends Sports Bar and The House Sports Lounge. Legends is described as a sports bar with “great food hot off the grill” in the food facts. The House Sports Lounge is listed in the fact sheet as a sports lounge with a betting kiosk, and the bars list places it steps from table games with sports on big screens. That is a room description, not a reason to gamble. Use it as a late dinner or post-show drink candidate only if the hotel confirms access and hours.
Johnny Rockets is listed as all-American burgers, fries and shakes. That makes it the fallback when you want a simpler, quicker meal without leaving the building. Again, the status is from the fact sheet and tourism listing rather than a live Caesars page fetched on this pass, so it belongs in the plan as a named option, not as a guaranteed service window.
Breakfast, buffet and late-night reality
Café 377 is the breakfast piece we can print. FACTS describe it as counter-service breakfast and lunch, with omelets and grilled sandwiches named in the tourism listing. The resort pages did not yield a room-service fact on this pass, so do not assume room service breakfast. If you need coffee before a departure, Tim Hortons is the important line: tourism listing says “24/7 Tim Hortons,” and FACTS place it on the main floor of the Forum Tower.
The buffet needs caution. The page brief names Market Buffet, and the older fact sheet dining line includes Market Buffet. But the deeper current food facts say no buffet appears in the 2023 fact sheet or tourism listing, and only Wikipedia mentions a buffet added at the 2008 relaunch, with current status unknown. Under this site’s rules, that means you should treat Market Buffet as not currently verified. We do not build a brunch plan around it.
There is also no brunch fact from the fetched pages. If brunch is a deciding criterion, compare Caesars Windsor with brunch and buffets across the ten hotels. If late-night is the issue, the 24/7 Tim Hortons keeps Caesars Windsor competitive; see the wider comparison in late-night eating.
Bars, closed Ariius and what to leave for
The confirmed bar-and-lounge set gives you three useful names. Cosmos Lounge is described as serving favourites on tap and handcrafted drinks, with live local music every Friday and Saturday and open seven days a week. The House Sports Lounge is the sports-screen room. Vu Bar appears on the Wyndham amenities page with skyline views. Those descriptions are all the record gives; no cocktail list or seating count is published in FACTS.
Ariius Nightclub & Ultra Lounge should not be treated as an in-house option. FACTS say Ariius left Caesars Windsor for downtown Windsor, with a final weekend at Caesars from Thursday 29 to Saturday 31 January 2026 and a relocation to 576 Ouellette Avenue. The Wyndham amenities page still lists Ariius, but FACTS mark that as stale. On this page, Ariius is closed at Caesars.
Leaving the building for food and drink is worth considering only where FACTS name the reason. The official tourism record names the Lake Erie North Shore wine region as Ontario’s oldest and southernmost, “just under an hour’s drive from Windsor,” and lists wineries including Sprucewood Shores Estate, Dancing Swallows, Vivace Estate, Vin Winery, Colio Estate, Colchester Ridge, Erie Shore Vineyard, Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, Viewpointe Estate, North 42 Degrees, Oxley Estate, Paglione Estate, Muscedere Vineyards, Pelee Island Winery, Mastronardi Estate, Black Bear Farms and Aleksander Estate.
